Children's Scholarship Network of Arizona is registered as an Arizona "School Tuition Organization" STO as defined in A.R.S. 43- 1089 to provide Arizona children with K-12 student tuition scholarships.

Our Growing Private Christian Urban K-12 School Network

Currently Children's Scholarship Network of Arizona "CSNAZ" www.csnaz.org has three qualified schools that qualify on the basis of being private K-12 urban Christian schools and that they enroll students according to CSNAZ's non-discriminatory policy in regard to their administration of their admission policies and/or education programs.  They are the well-known Sahuarita Christian Academy, Inc. “SCA” www.sahuarita-sca.org and the newly formed Arizona Online Christian Academy, Inc. “AOCA” www.online-az.org as well as Nogales Christian Academy, Inc. "NCA" www.nogales-nca.org which will begin accepting enrollments the 1st semester of the 2000-10 school year.

Please go to www.online-az.org or www.sahuarita-sca.org to enroll or apply for a tuition scholarship for Arizona Online Christian Academy, Sahuarita Christian Academy or Nogales Christian Academy.  Thank you.

Sahuarita Christian Academy, Inc. "SCA" www.sahuarita-sca.org opened its new campus at the beginning of the 2007-08 school year and since opening has experienced a doubling in their student enrollment every semester for the last three consecutive semesters.  SCA’s current enrollment is at 140 with many students awaiting the construction of SCA’s to-be-built LEED® Gold certified K-12 state-of-the-art educational facility (which will be the first of its kind in Arizona)

Arizona Online Christian Academy "AOCA" www.online-az.org was formed to give children living in Arizona access to an accredited grade 3-12 private online Christian education regardless of their geographical location and/or finances.  There currently are a limited number of scholarships available for Arizona Online Christian Academy students who attend grades 3 through 12.

Nogales Christian Academy, Inc. "NCA" www.nogales-nca.org has plans to open its campus in August for the 2009-10 school year.  NCA will seek to replicate its services and operations in line with Sahuarita Christian Academy and as such will be a fully accredited K-12 private Christian urban school serving students and their families who reside in the communities of Nogales, Rio Rico and the surrounding areas.

Comments

Grandmother- My older grandson was "slipping through the cracks" in public school... un-challenged and un-motivated to perform.  His grades were below average and his attitude was not good (to say the least).  Now, praise God, he attends SCA on a scholarship and is upset if he gets 85%.  Most of his grades are over 95%...and he comes out with a smile each day!  New friends, caring teachers...Thank you!

Elementary Student - I am thankful for being in this school.  I like it because the teachers are very nice.  I am learning a lot.  I want to keep coming here.  Thank you.

High School Student - My opinion on Sahuarita Christian Academy is that it is a wonderful opportunity.  My sister and I could not have come to this school if it wasn’t for the scholarship we received.  I am appreciative of the scholarship and am thankful that this school will help brighten my future.

Mom- My son has told me how happy he is that he does not have to deal with all the profanity and the ridicule he faced at the public school. His disposition has improved already.  He is much more obedient now, as well.  I cannot thank SCA enough for the change in my son.

Junior High Student - My attitude has defintely changed when I entered Sahuarita Christian Academy.  I feel that I need to be better in school and to work on my attitude... I want to show gratitude to my parents...to the scholarship providers for giving me and the rest of the students at this school an opportunity to come here.  Without your help most of us would probably not be able to come here and we are all very grateful for that.  I would like you to know that I really appreciate all that you do, that I am not only going to give 100%, but 110% and I am going to give my best effort to get good grades and give all my effort into my education.

Mom - We moved here 5 years ago from Southern California and we had to put our son in a public school.  I can honestly say that I really don’t think he has learned much since then.  This last year the bullying at the school became unbearable for our son and as I watched him dreading going to school each day I began to stress out as well.  I encouraged him every day and would promise him I would deal with the situation, that retaliation was not in his best interest and I was certain school officials would fix it.  I know they tried, but still he was pushed around and made to feel unsafe in his learning environment.  After the first few minutes at Sahuarita Christian Academy I could already see the tension start to leave my son’s body.  The children there took him under their wings immediately and each day it has gotten better and better.  I now see my son eager to do his work and get to school to start each day.  He is applying his old study habits from years ago, and while I know there will be an adjustment period, while he gets caught up, it is well worth it and I already see a huge difference in what he is learning.  He does not feel at all threatened by anyone there and knows no student or teacher will belittle him or harm him in any way.  His self esteem is starting to increase and he wants to learn more. I can’t thank all of you enough for his scholarship and giving him back his love of learning and his sense of security.

Junior High Student - This school has done so much for me academically.  I have done so much better in subjects that I have struggled with.  This school has done a lot for me line in Math, History and Science.  This school has changed my attitude a lot and when I come home from school I’m happy. I’m so happy to have this opportunity to go to this school.  I have met a lot of new friends and the best thing is that we have things in common.  And I am so thankful for the people that have provided a scholarship for me to go to this wonderful school.
